There are 3 new homes that came to market this week. The home on 9th street and 15th street were done by the same builder and have the exact same layout, finishings and amenities.

  1. 1230 Georgina Ave, Selling for $9.5M

  2. 440 15th St., Selling for $5M

  3.  303 9th St., Selling for $5M


With so many new homes under construction North of Montana we can expect a steady supply of new homes.  This will give a greater challenge to those selling existing homes.  The key to selling in this environment is to discover small manageable changes that will give a big effect.  Narrow the gap between the high priced new homes versus a well maintained, nicely styled existing home..

New Developments in Downtown LA



There’s going to be a lot of changes in Downtown LA soon!


LA Times states, “A $1-billion residential, hotel and retail complex is being planned south of the 10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles as robust development promises to spread beyond the traditional boundaries of the neighborhood.” The project will be called SoLA Village, but living in this area won’t come cheap. Living expenses will come very close, or comparable, to living costs on the Westside particularly Santa Monica. There are plans to develop about 84 or more new residential homes, hotels and retail. SoLA will be filled with “densely developed complex with skyscrapers and low- and mid-rise residential buildings along with outdoor plazas and terraces intended to create a pedestrian-oriented community.” This will be the perfect location for those who love the city feel, but warm climates.


This is an exciting new venture and I can’t wait to see what SoLA will be in the future.

New Restaurants in Santa Monica!




The Little Door opened this month and I'm excited to try it out next week! Its located on 246 26th St. and they serve French, Seafood and Steak. If you've ever been to the Beverly Grove location, you'll know what to expect in Santa Monica. I can't wait to see the new venue and try their cuisine.
 
 
Californians have only dreamed about Dunkin Donuts’ coffee and freshly baked donuts, croissants, bagels… WAKE UP! This dream is actually reality. The franchise opened only recently and the lines have formed for the “taste of the iconic brand's high-quality products and fast speed of service with the opening of its first full expression locations on the West Coast.Its located on 1132 Wilshire Blvd. and get there quick if you’re pressed for time.
 
 
 
 
Cavery Kitchen opened on 3101 Ocean Park Blvd. and they specialize in deli meats and treats. “The versatile spread that Carvery Kitchen offers is one worthy of noting: from housemade pastrami, to roast beef, to vegetarian alternatives, to even fish and crab, the restaurant goes above and beyond the standard chicken, pork, and beef options.” This place looks like a lunchtime staple if you’re fortunate to work nearby!
 
 
 
 
Manchego On Main moved three doors down from its original location. Now located on 2518 Main St., “It's still honoring BYOB action Mon-Thu, and hitting you with Spanish favorites like shrimp wrapped in ham and a house-made pickle & charcuterie plate that's also -- wait, it's not wrapped in ham too???” (Thrillest). Sounds delicious, right?!
